The Evaluation at CABEI

It is based on the "Before-After" comparison which is an alternative to quantify impact. The method consists in following the Results Chain, based on the development objectives initially established (ex ante), to quantify and verify the transformation of the inputs into outputs (mid-term), and quantify the outcoming effects from the products (ex post). Additionally the alternative evaluation used by ODE can be grouped into two general categories that are the evaluation though the experimental designs (aleatory) and evaluation through quasi experimental designs (non aleatory). They are also known as evaluation "with and without intervention".

The methodology for assessing CABEI´s contribution through financial intermediaries" is incorporated to evaluate the impact of credit lines. It includes the planning, design, data analysis, application of econometric models and final report for the contribution through financial intermediaries and final beneficiaries in a given period.

From the Ex Ante evaluation to the mid-term and Ex Post evaluation, sequential instruments are used by subsectors within the Infrastructure, Productive and Financial sectors, which can be private, sovereign public and non-sovereign.
