The purpose of impact evaluation is to determine whether a development intervention (usually called projects or programs) produced the desired effects on the people, households, communities, national economy, industrial sector and institutions for which it was established. Through the impact evaluation, a quantitative estimate and a qualitative analysis of the benefits are carried out, in which it is evaluated whether they are attributable to the development intervention.

Why Independence is Important in Evaluation?

Independence guarantees an objective vision of CABEI's work and is essential for the credibility of the results.
