Andrea Lupiac

Evaluation Analyst

Andrea Lupiac Aspra ewas born in Honduras, she is an architect, graduated from the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC)). She has a master’s degree in Sustainable Infrastructure from the Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña (UPC).

She possesses recognized international certifications in sustainability and climate change issues such as: EDGE Expert (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) by the International Finance Corporation (IFC); LEED®GA by the U.S. Green Building Council and as Climate Reality Leader for Latin America by Vice President Al Gore. She has a certificate in Complex Project Management by the University of Cambridge and an exploitation course in "Architectural and Urban DesignTechnology and Art" of the Universitat Politècnica de Valencia, in Spain. She was selected as a U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) Fellow representing Honduras at Greenbuild Boston 2017.

Prior to joining CABEI, she worked in interventions towards development such as Solid Waste Management Awareness and Recycling Projects with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), as well as international and local projects that were focused on sustainable development and awarded with international awards. Amongst those projects figure the Espai Bombers Museum: Parc de la Prevenció in Barcelona, Spain and the Casa Quinchon building in the historic center of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. She is a professor in the master’s degree for Renewable Energy Management at the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana (UNITEC).

She currently excels in the evaluation subject and her strength in development and sustainability topics makes her a significant contributor as an analyst in the Independent Evaluation Office (ODEI).
